Nick grew up in Seattle WA, on Lake Washington. From a young age he was really into snowboarding, and in his teens would go up to the mountains almost everyday during the winter. During the summer he traveled up to the San Juan Islands with his family on their boat for weeks on end.  On one of those trips, he came across a Wakeboarding Magazine, which was a sport he’d never heard about, but it seemed like snowboarding so was interested.  It was the July 1999 Wakeboarding Mag.  After that, Nick purchased a wakeboard, but was still hooked on snowboarding and continued competing in it during the winter.  In 2002, Nick suffered a bad injury snowboarding, as a result wakeboarding seemed like the obvious path to take.  He graduating high school in 2005, and soon after moved down to Orlando, FL, to pursue his growing wakeboard career full time. Since then Nick’s rode the professional wakeboard tour, lived through some gnarly injuries, and tries to enjoy the lifestyle that traveling as an athlete brings.  Now, more than ever, he’s determined to make the most out of his experiences and see the world.
